Having a buddy on the rainy days when I'm not feeling well, like today, makes the pain more bearable for sure. I've been sick for the past few days and Holden has been a complete goof trying to cheer me up. Thank goodness for this dog and his ability to put a smile on my face!
Hey there! My name is Julia and I came across your blog while researching things I need to know because I will soon be the mommy of my very own diabetic alert dog :) I've both enjoyed your blog and been sickened by the instances of discrimination you've experienced. Thanks for writing about it to tell the world about the ever presence of discrimination...it needs to change!! I also noticed you are planning to get another dog and wanted to suggest maybe looking into him being an alert dog for you too! Maybe you've already thought about it and it might be too much for one dog to learn but I thought I'd throw that out there just in case it hadn't come up! Best of luck to you and I will continue to read your blog and read about yours and Holden's adventures :) God bless!

Thanks for visiting! I haven't been posting much this summer (busy and exhausted) but I will be back regularly soon!
